RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENTS

  1. Event Participant

1.1. It is the person who made the registration on the myexpo.lv homepage of the organizer of the event correct manner and paid full payment for stands within the time limit.

  1. Registration of the Events

2.1. Registration shall take place on the homepage of the organizer of the event myexpo.lv by completing the application form.

2.2. Participation in the event shall be approved within 2 (two) working days. The event organizer shall send an e-mail with approval and a prepayment invoice to the participant of the event. The invoice contains the total amount and the stand number selected by the Participant.

  1. Payment arrangements

3.1. A member of the events is obliged to pay the Prepayment Invoice within 5 working days. If the invoice has not been paid within the specified time limit, the organizer of the events shall have the right to cancel the registration of the Participant and the notified stall without notice.

3.2. The original of the invoice may be received by the participant during the event, informing the organizer of the event at least 5 days before the events.

3.3. If a member of the events has registered, paid for the participation in the events but has not arrived, the organizer of the events shall have the right not to refund the money paid back.

  1. Workplace, area and pricing

4.1. The area of the workplace and the price for the workplace are indicated on the homepage of the organizer of the events, myexpo.lv, under the “Registration” section of each event – hall plan. Area indicated in m2 and price in euro, including VAT.

4.2. A member of the measure shall be required to install his or her stands only in the place and in the area which was registered and paid.

4.3. His or her own stands shall be arranged and decorated by the Participant of the events itself. The fitting of a stand must not interfere with other participants in the events. If assembly works are required, they must be carried out by the participant of the event in an area not exceeding 1 m from his or her stands.

4.4. The cleanliness of the stand after assembly and dismantling, as well as in the area 1 m around its rented stand, shall be the responsibility of the participant of the measure. If a member of the event fails to comply with the above condition, the organizer of the event shall have the right to impose a fine. The amount of the penalty is determined by the Rules of Participation in paragraph 8.

4.5. The stand must be fully arranged 30 minutes before the official unveiling of each measure. A photograph of stands shall take place during the official opening of the events. If the stands are not arranged within the specified time limits, the organizer of the events shall have the right to impose a fine. The amount of the penalty is determined by the Rules of Participation in paragraph 8 of the events

4.6. During the event, the participant of the event must stay in his or her stands.

4.7. A member of the measure may not harvest or remove the goods from the events before the official closure of the events.  Otherwise, the Organiser of Fairs shall be entitled to issue a Participant of Fairs penalty corresponding to the total sum of the stands of Participant, and the Participant shall be obliged to pay the penalty at 100%.

  1. Advertising

5.1. A member of the event has the right to advertise his or her goods on the day of the event, indicating the name and price thereof in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.

  1. Prohibition

6.1. The event prohibits the marketing of fish and meat products without cold cases; products with a sharp, unpleasant scent; goods bearing political inscriptions; goods with human discriminatory inscriptions and/or photographs; goods which do not correspond to the profile of the event as determined by the organizer of the measure. Goods of religious content. Goods with nude photos.

6.2. A member of the event shall be prohibited from walking around the hall on the day of the event and from distributing any advertising booklets. They may be in the Participant’s stand.

6.3. On the day of the event, a member of the event shall be prohibited from using loud music that would disrupt the other participants in the event. The organizer of the event has the right to request a reduction in the noise size. If ignored, the organizer of the event shall have the right to impose a penalty. The amount of the penalty is determined by the Rules of Participation in paragraph 8.

6.4. A member of the event is prohibited from using alcoholic beverages on the date of the event. If this is recorded, the organizer of the event shall have the right to suspend the work of the Participant in the event and to impose a fine. The amount of the penalty is determined by the Rules of Participation in paragraph 8 of the events.

6.5. A member of the event shall be prohibited from staying at the site of the event if the event lasts for more than one day.

6.6. The party to the event shall be prohibited from marketing any goods not listed in the questionnaire and photograph of the application.

  1. Fire protection

7.1. An electricity requirement the participant of the event must inform the organizer of the event on its stand in the Register Form Additional information.

7.2. The participant of the event shall not have the right to connect to the power supply sockets without the written permission of the Organizer electrician.

7.3. The organizer of the event shall be responsible for the state of fire safety in the event as a whole, as well as shall ensure the spaces conforming to the fire safety rules, while the participants of the event shall be responsible for fire safety. If a member has flammable objects on the stand, the obligation of the participant to provide the fire extinguisher on the stand.

7.4. Participants in the exhibition area shall be prohibited from:

7.4.1. to leave electrical equipment and technological equipment switched on without supervision;

7.4.2. to use uncelebrated fuse melting inserts for the protection of electricity networks;

7.4.3. to operate a damaged technological electrical equipment, to use cables and cables with damaged insulation;

7.4.4. clean the stalls using VUL (flammable liquid) and DV (combustible liquid);

7.4.5. to place rapidly flammable materials up to a distance of 0.5 m from lighting bodies;

7.4.6. use damaged hardware that could cause sparking, short-circuiting, heating

  1. Penalty

8.1. The party to the event and/or its third parties shall be obliged to compensate the organizer of the event for the losses caused to the organizer of the event and/or to third parties on the date of the proceedings of the event. The extent of damage and damage shall be determined by the organizer of the event together with the renter of the site of the Measure.

8.1.1. If the Participant of the event has not established its stall in good time, the penalty shall be EUR 50.

8.1.2. If a member of the event uses alcoholic beverages on the date of the event, the penalty shall be EUR 250 and the prohibition to participate in further events organized by the myexpo.lv.

8.1.3. If a member of the event has not assembled his or her stands after assembly and dismantling, the penalty shall be EUR 50

8.1.4. If the Participant of the event does not comply with the rules of procedure in accordance with the procedures specified by the Republic of Latvia, the penalty shall be EUR 250 and the prohibition to participate in subsequent events organized by myexpo.lv

 

  1. Cancellation policy

9.1. A member of the event has the right to withdraw his or her participation in the event 30 days before the date of the event, receiving 50% of the total amount of money paid back. The amount of money shall be transferred by the organizer of the event to the Bank Account of the participant of the event within 5 (five) working days.

9.2. A member of the event has the right to withdraw his or her participation in the event less than 30 days before the date of the event, but in this case he loses the sum of 100% of the money paid.

9.3. If a member of an event refuses to participate less than 30 days before the start of the measure, but finds in place another member with the same or similar production, who complies with the provisions of the event and is aligned with the organizer of the measure, he may receive a refund of 100% of the cash paid back.

9.4. The annulment of the event between the organizer of the event and the party to the event shall be writing form.

 

  1. Security and insurance

10.1. On the day of the event, the Participant shall be responsible for the safety of his or her stall and his or her private property.

10.2. The organizer of the event shall not assume responsibility for the values of the participants in the event. A member of the event may enter into a contract with a security guard firm regarding the security of his or her stands.

10.3. The organizer of the event shall not insure the goods of the participants of the event during the work of the event, but if the participant of the event wishes, the insurance of the goods shall be carried out independently with the insurance company.

  1. General provisions

11.1. On the date of the me event assure, all claims concerning the quality of the goods and the price which may arise between the party and the buyer of the event shall be dealt with on the spot only between the party to the event and the other party to the dispute.

11.2. The organizer of the event shall not answer or engage in disputes regarding third party objections regarding the authenticity of the trade marks, patents, copyright, etc. of the party to the event.

11.3. If the participant of the event has any claims regarding the conduct of the event, the participant of the event must inform the organizer of the event in writing on the day of the event. After the date of the event, the claims shall no longer be accepted.

  1. Force Majeure

12.1. In cases where an event is hindered or rendered impossible by Force Majeure or comparable circumstances (natural disasters, fires, decisions or orders prohibiting public authorities, etc., which the organizer could neither foresee nor eliminate by resources at its disposal), the Organizer of event is entitled:
12.1.1. to change the location of the event on the date of the event. In this case, account shall be taken, as far as possible, of the wishes of the Participant of the event and of the timely warning of the Participant of the event.
12.1.2. to change the workplace of the participant of the event for unforeseeable reasons arising from the organizer of the event. Such events are considered to be such as an increase or decrease in the number of participants, etc.
12.1.3.do not repay the money previously paid to the participant in the event of a transfer to another place or date for reasons of force majeure if the participant of the measure wishes to withdraw his or her participation in the fair.
12.1.4.to repay to the participant of the event the previously paid money for the event if it is transferred to another place or date due to circumstances of force majeure, if the participant of the measure finds another member of the measure in his place with the same or similar production, which complies with the provisions of the measure and is in agreement with the organiser of the measure.

  1. Closing rules

13.1. When reading the above-mentioned Rules of Participation in the event and sending a registration questionnaire, the Participant of the event certifies that they have been read in full, understood and agreed with all its points and agreed with the organizer of the event on their compliance and enforcement.

13.2. The participant of the event shall be responsible personally for disturbing public order on the day of the event, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.

13.3. Any dispute and dispute, if the Parties or one of them fails to comply or fails to adequately comply with the arrangements of the Participation concluded, shall be dealt with by mutual agreement.

13.4. If the Parties cannot agree with each other, the dispute shall be dealt with by the Tribunal of the Court in accordance with the procedures laid down in the legislation.

 

ADDITIONAL RULES FOR AMATORY MARKET MEMBERS

 

  1. Payment and marketing places

1.1. Participants in the craftsman’s fairs, who want a specific place in the outdoor exposure, will only book it after filing an application and billing for membership in the exhibition for pay.

1.2. Craftsmen who do not qualify for a particular place at the artisans’ fairs may make a payment for that particular day on the spot. The trading venue will be allocated to the area for the Amateur Fair.

 

  1. Arrangements

2.1. The member shall be responsible for cleaning the rented area during the exhibition work.

2.2. The participant shall be responsible for the cleanliness of his or her rented area after assembly and dismantling, as well as in the territory within 1 m around the area rented.

2.3. The participant is not entitled to connect to the electricity supply sockets independently. This is only possible with the help of the organizer electrician, who will determine the accuracy of the output socket and capacity. Indicate the need to increase electricity capacity

2.4. The organizer shall not assume responsibility for the values of market participants. A market participant may enter into a contract with a security guard firm regarding the security of his or her stall.
